Located between Sonic and Play, there is a small smoothie shop called Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar on Mayfield Road. This shop is mainly known for their large selection of smoothies, but they also offer wraps and salads. Many Mayfield students frequent this spot, which is why it has become so well known.                        

The most popular Pulp smoothie is their Elite 8, which is a mix of strawberry, banana, and peach. However, that is just one of their around 30 fruit and veggie smoothies that they offer. If you want a more traditional flavor, they have smoothies that feature only one flavor, like Strawberry or Raspberry. If you want something a little more adventurous, you can try their selection of Tropical or Super Smoothies. They also sell wraps and salads for family members who might not want a smoothie. Some wraps include, the PB and G, which is peanut butter, sliced bananas, and crunchy granola. Salads include the chicken caesar and the garden salad.

Customers do not all come in at once. Only about 175 customers walk in every day between the hours of 8am-9pm. They usually walk in at a constant rate or in small groups, making it easy to get in and out in a respectable amount of time. They also have a nice interior with seats, so students can come and do their homework after school or just go to meet up with their friends. 

The students at MMS rave about Pulp, with a majority knowing exactly where it is. An employee at the shop says he would give the smoothie a 9/10, depending on the flavor. When asked how to make a smoothie, the employee claimed that, “it’s an art, not science.” He also mentioned that they use real ingredients and don’t mix up your orders.
